The mission of Fabric Graphics Association is to foster and service the fabric and graphics industries by becoming a first source for graphic information, from application to inspiration.

Fabricgraphicsassociation.com is a web site devoted to providing definitive resources for applying graphics to fabric. The web site enhances opportunities for specialty fabric end product manufacturing companies to increase product offerings through graphic applications while promoting common interests of members of the Fabric Graphics Association.

FGA presents the following 2009 Educational Opportunities

 

IFAI Expo 2009 - Come to the largest specialty fabrics trade show in the Americas from September 23-25, 2009 at the San Diego Convention Center.  Visit www.ifaiexpo.com for details.

Sustainable Printing - Ensuring Our Future will be presented on Wednesday, September 23rd from 2:00 - 5:00 PM.  A featured symposium addressing sustainable printing practices, associated business challenges and opportunities that face the fabric graphics community. 

State of the Sustainable Printing Industry presented by Don Carli, VP of SustainCommWorld will discuss the state of the sustainable printing industry, methods for adopting sustainable business practices, what clients really want when they ask about sustainability, and what manufacturers can demand of their suppliers.

Steps for Becoming a Sustainable Printing Business by Marci Kinter, SGIA will discuss the practical steps printing companies need to take to embrace sustainabiliity through industry certifications, environmental health and safety standards and lean manufacturing toward the never ending path to sustainability.

Industry Certifications - what works for what?  Find out why ANSI/EPA, ISO 14001 and SGP certification programs were selected by your peers, and why others chose not to get certified.

Fabric Graphics Association Scholarship Program 2009

Members and family members of FGA may apply for 2009 - 2010 academic year.  Scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in an accredited college or university program pursuing a degree in a program related to the fabric graphics industry.  The amount of the scholarship is $1500.  Visit www.indfab.com to register on line.
