IFAI announces winners of 2007 achievement awards

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is proud to announce the winners of the 2007 International Achievement Awards (IAA).

For 60 years, IAA have recognized design, technological innovation and excellence in the specialty fabrics industry. The projects created by the industry continue to grow in scope as applications for specialty fabrics advance.

The competition received a record 387 entries from 14 countries that were submitted into 28 categories. Entries were judged by a diverse panel of industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals who were selected for their knowledge of the various categories. Judges evaluated each entry based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function.

The goal of IAA is to promote awareness of the specialty fabrics used in thousands of products. All entries received prominent recognition at IFAI Expo. Additional publicity is received through coverage in IFAI magazines, as well as through press releases sent to media professionals.
